Looking for a budding influencer, a future social media maven! Join us to make a real impact fighting poverty while gaining real-world experience in social media marketing, positioning and messaging,

What You’ll Do:

  • Create and schedule social media posts (Insta, Tiktok, X etc.)

  • Promote upcoming events and success stories

  • Help develop creative content like short videos, graphics, or photo posts

  • Support on-site during occasional events or content-gathering sessions

  • Learn about nonprofit work and community outreach

What We’re Looking For:

  • Resident in the Santa Clara County Area. Great for High School or College Students.

  • A budding influencer. Reliable, creative, and comfortable using social media

  • Basic writing or design skills (Canva, Instagram Reels, etc. are a plus)

  • Interest in community service and helping families in need

Midtown Family Services' mission is to assist individuals and families who are homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless, become self-sufficient in housing and interdependent domains through timely and evidence-based interventions.

Description

Midtown Family Services provides support for low-income individuals/families living in San Jose and surrounding communities in two program areas: Financial counseling and navigation services for low income, working, members of the community with basic needs; and reentry of individuals back into the community after incarceration in state prison.
