Overview:
The Kennedy Center is seeking a Financial Process System Analyst for a temporary position to support the SAGE ERP implementation project, ensuring a smooth transition from the current Lawson ERP system. The role involves analyzing, optimizing, and documenting financial processes, facilitating workflow enhancements, and assisting with change management efforts to maximize efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP ERP (Lawson Preferred), financial process improvement, and workflow analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Process Review & Optimization
- Analyze existing financial workflows impacted by the Sage ERP implementation.
- Develop process flow diagrams where needed for both current and future states to ease the transition
- Contribute to the identification and recommendation of financial process enhancements leveraging Sage capabilities.
- Work closely with finance teams to ensure changes align with industry best practices.
Business Process Documentation & Validation
- Collaborate with stakeholders and accountable staff to validate and refine process changes.
- Ensure all business process updates receive proper approval / buy in from workstream leads.
- Assist in drafting use cases for the necessary process changes.
- Support the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for new processes.
Testing & Implementation Support
- Assist in developing and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) script.
- Ensure financial processes are properly tested before go live to mitigate risks.
- Work with IT and finance teams to troubleshoot ERP configuration issues affecting workflows.
Training & Change Management
- Assist in developing training materials for impacted workgroups
- Ensure Key stakeholders are well -informed and equipped to adopt new financial workflows
- Support organizational change management efforts to ensure a smooth transition.
Performance Measurement & Compliance
- Establish metrics to validate process efficiency and effectiveness post implementation
- Ensure financial process changes align with GAAP and Non-profit compliance standards.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement based on system performance and user feedback.

Description
A person who, beyond regular paid employment and normal day-to-day responsibilties, chooses to contribute time and service as a member of the Kennedy Center personnel team to assist the Center in the accomplishment of its mission.Friends volunteer services operates every day of the year unless otherwise indicated. Daily shifts are from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.; 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.; 6 p.m .- 9 p. m. Areas include gift shops, tour guides, information desk, administration and education.
