Help Inspire the Next Generation of Scientists!
Join Science from Scientists (SciSci) this summer as a volunteer for our Biomedical Summer Camp! We've partnered with local Parks and Rec departments to bring an exciting, hands-on science experience to curious young minds ages 7-10.
What’s the camp all about?
Campers will dive into the fascinating world of biomedical science as they solve medical mysteries and explore what makes us human. Throughout the week, they'll investigate eye color, how we breathe, why DNA matters-and even get a close-up look at a real (sheep) brain!
Why volunteer?
As a volunteer, you’ll support our two awesome SciSci educators, assist with engaging activities, and help ensure campers are learning and having fun. You don’t need to be a medical science expert-just bring reliability, enthusiasm, and a passion for STEM! Whether you're a student, current scientist, or simply love working with kids, this is a meaningful way to give back.
Commitment
We ask that volunteers commit to the full week of camp for consistency and the best experience for everyone.
