Description:
We’re looking for a passionate, organized volunteer to help us make urgent, time-sensitive outreach to churches across the U.S. as we raise emergency funds to reunite 50 children with their families in Tanzania by July 2025.
This is a high-impact, short-term opportunity:
You’ll be given a spreadsheet of church contacts and pre-written email templates to send out right away. With just a few hours of focus, you can contact dozens of churches in a single day, helping us build momentum at a critical time.
Your role will include:
Sending emails to churches already in our system
Marking who has been contacted, who has responded, and who to follow up with
Researching and adding new mission-minded churches to the spreadsheet
Helping us stay organized and timely during this urgent campaign
Why It Matters:
One of our major donors has withdrawn unexpectedly, leaving us with a $22,000 gap. The children are ready to go home. The families are prepared. But we need church partners to walk with us-now.
Time Commitment: 3-5 hours/week, flexible scheduling, for 4-6 weeks
What You Need:
Comfort with Google Sheets and email
Clear, professional writing skills
Reliability and care for children and justice
A sense of urgency
We’ll provide everything you need. You’ll provide the reach-and hope.
Let’s do something meaningful together.

Mission Statement
Our core mission at Amani is to empower the future of our community through academic success, emotional development, and the physical well-being of the at-risk children and youth we serve. Unlike traditional orphanages, we not only provide a full-time residential program but also engage in various outreach initiatives. We prioritize long-term healing and family reunification. We lead the way with data-driven approaches to raising children, particularly in trauma-informed medical care, ensuring food security, and enriching their lives with art therapy, sports leagues, and wildlife conservation campaigns. Our commitment to environmental education, using innovative programs like nature journaling, sets us apart. We’re more than a children’s home; we’re a force of nature in social welfare and children’s development.
Description
Amani is completely not-for-profit. All donations are used directly for food, construction, school sponsorship, health needs and minimal overhead costs. Funds from donors contribute to immediate needs (such a monthly food expenses) as well as long term goals (such as expanding and improving Amani’s facilities).
