The San Diego River Park Foundation is hosting its exciting RIver Days kickoff event, the Walk For Wildlife on 5/10 at the beautiful Riverewalk Gold Course!
Volunteers will enjoy an uplifting morning along the beautiful San Diego River with live music, refreshments, educational booths, and more! It's all to raise funds for our Research Program that is working to save threatened species in the San Diego Watershed!

The San Diego River Park Foundation is dedicated to fostering stewardship and appreciation of the region’s namesake waterway. In order to protect and enhance the San Diego River as a place for recreation, habitat, and nature discovery, we are dedicated to engaging people to be stewards of the River and working towards the vision of a 52 mile, river-long system of parks, open spaces, and community places.
Description
We organize many different volunteer stewardship activities each month. River Cleanups, native plant gardening, habitat restoration, volunteer leadership, water quality testing, outreach and education, special event committees, technical committees and more.
