The South Miami Connect Group facilitators will have the opportunity to lead a vibrant peer-led support group for people living with arthritis and their caregivers. Arthritis Foundation Connect Groups are peer-led support groups, social, and educational groups that regularly meet in person or virtually to provide connections that are inclusive to adults living with all types of arthritis and rheumatic diseases or to parents/guardians of children with juvenile arthritis.

Facilitators bring people together to provide:

  • Understanding and encouragement for both people living with arthritis and their loved ones
  • Strategies supporting members become self-advocates, develop self-management skills and learn how to not just survive life with arthritis but to thrive!

Facilitators abide by the Live Yes! Connect Group Guidelines and Terms & Conditions, practice ethical confidentiality standards and represent Arthritis Foundation in a professional, respectful, and positive manner.
