Join LGBTQ+ and Ally Volunteers as we partner with PRIDE Chicago. Chipride Volunteering will help coordinate and march in the Chicago Pride Parade!
There are several opportunities to help with the event. We need volunteers for the following tasks:
- VOLUNTEER ONLY: 10 volunteers who do not want to march and will be stationed at the end of the parade at the disassembly area from the start of the parade (10:15 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.). Volunteer should report at 10:15 AM near Diversey Parkway & Commonwealth Avenue.
- WILL MARCH AND VOLUNTEER: 20 volunteers who will march the parade from start to finish, and then stay until 3:30 p.m to help with disassembly. Meet at Sheridan & Broadway at 10 am.
- MARCH ONLY: 70 spots for volunteers who will only march. Meet at Sheridan & Broadway at 10 am.
Optional Events to Attend:
As volunteers of the Pride Parade you are also invited to the following events.
Thursday, May 22 - Volunteer Appreciation and Orientation - Cesar’s on Broadway - 6-9pm
Sunday, June 1 - Pride Month Kick-Off Reception - Sidetrack - 1-3pm
Sunday, June 29 - Chicago Pride Parade!
What should we wear?
Please purchase a Chipride Volunteering T-shirt and Hat from Raygun. A portion of this purchase goes directly to Chipride Volunteering.

Chipride partners with other non-profit organizations and provides the human power to complete projects.
