Age Well Senior Services invites you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of local seniors! Our Congregate Lunch Program provides not just nutritious meals, but also vital social interaction and a sense of community for older adults in San Clemente, CA

We rely on the generosity and dedication of volunteers like you to keep this essential program running smoothly. We currently have openings in the following areas:

Volunteer Roles:

1. Phones:

   • Tasks: Answer incoming calls, provide program information, take lunch reservations, make reminder calls, and offer friendly phone support.
   • Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
   • Time: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

2. Kitchen Support (On-Call):

   • Tasks: Assist with basic food preparation, plating meals according to dietary needs, packaging meals, light kitchen clean-up, and ensuring a safe and sanitary environment.
   • Schedule: Monday - Friday
   • Time: 10:30 am - 1:00 pm
   • Note: This is an on-call position; volunteers are contacted as needed based on availability. Flexibility is key!

3. Lunch Sign-in & Welcome (On-Call):

   • Tasks: Greet seniors warmly as they arrive, manage the sign-in process, assist with seating if needed, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
   • Schedule: Monday - Friday
   • Time: 11:00 am - 12:45 pm
   • Note: This is an on-call position; volunteers are contacted as needed based on availability. A friendly face makes all the difference!

Requirements:

• Must be 16 years or older (14 & 15-year-olds can participate with an adult)
• Completed volunteer application and background check
