The Media Arts Council (MAC) is partnering with the Media Business Authority to present the Media Spring Arts Show, April 27 (rain date May 4). More than 150 artists will display and sell original art work and fine crafts, and over 5,000 people will visit Media. Many volunteers are need to be sure the event runs smoothly. Volunteers will help with street closures, direct artists to their assigned locations, monitor and remove trash, assist with event closing, and more. Volunteers will receive a free Media Spring Arts Show t-shirt and food vouchers on the day of the event. Attendance at a training session on April 23, 6 - 7:30 p.m. is required of volunteers.

Located in Media, PA, the mission of the Media Arts Council is to actively support local artists and integrate a wide range of arts into the life of the entire community. MAC achieves this mission by providing professional artists with opportunities to exhibit, sell, and/or perform, infusing Media with public art installations, providing youth with arts education classes, and offering arts events for the community.

Since 2006, MAC has been a leader in the Delaware County arts scene - programming everything from a fine art gallery, an annual international film festival, several music festivals, and a multitude of live performances that include professional musicians, community poetry readings, workshops, and so much more. MAC makes a cultured life for those who live, work, and play in this region.

MAC endeavors to reach a breadth of people through an array of arts and culture programming offered at various price points and we continually engage people who would not otherwise participate in the arts. We continually strive to make MAC the place to go for experiences that grow us as human beings and connect our community in bonds of joy and creativity.
