Be a friend to someone in their last days of life. Our Volunteer Coordinator will match you with a patient to visit and provide companionship/repite for caregivers/light housekeeping help/errands. Volunteers are matched according to your schedule, location, and the ways you'd like to serve. In addition to direct patient interaction, volunteers can help in our office with clerical and administrative tasks. Training and ongoing support for our volunteers is provided. Mission Statement
Recruiting volunteers for companionship/respite for family and caregivers/help with light household tasks and errands for patients in home hospice and/or receiving hospice care while in assisted living or skilled nursing facilities. Volunteers can also help with administrative tasks in our Independence office. We work with your schedule, location, and ways you would like to serve. Training and ongoing support is provided by our Volunteer Coordinator.
Description
Our Interdisciplinary Team provides hospice care to our patients by going to their homes, whether that be in private residences or facilities.
