About The Carter & Olay Foundation (TCOF)
TCOF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization on a mission to close the racial wealth gap by providing culturally relevant, age-appropriate financial literacy education to children of color. Through engaging storytelling, diverse representation, and community-centered programming, we empower children ages 6-13 to understand the value of money, ownership, saving, and long-term wealth building. We believe that financial literacy should be taught early, often, and in formats that reflect our children's lived experiences.
We are in an exciting growth stage, preparing to launch our first line of children’s books, expand our national programming model, and solidify partnerships with schools, families, and nonprofits across the country. Now, we are building a visionary, high-impact Board of Directors to help lead the charge. We want mission-aligned leaders who are ready to be part of something transformative.
Role Summary
As a Board Member of TCOF, you’ll serve as a strategic advisor, ambassador, and advocate for the organization’s mission. This is a governance-level volunteer position (not day-to-day operations), with the opportunity to provide thought leadership, professional expertise, and fundraising support.
