This special group of volunteers offer much-needed support to these lower-risk loved ones by making phone calls, often on the anniversaries of deaths, providing important moments of "virtual connection."

As a Virtual Bereavement Volunteer, you will be trained to assess the needs, responses, and support systems of the bereaved, and provide documentation to help our psychosocial team determine any needed follow up care. You may also co-facilitate virtual services of remembrance and take part in virtual grief support groups- all from the comfort of your home.

As a hospice volunteer you will learn about the hospice philosophy, communicating with patients and families, family dynamics, spiritual care and the grief process.
Please consider joining our team as we honor life and offer hope to those who need us most.
