Volunteers are needed for the In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Symposium Volunteer Event. This event is for current IHSS consumers/recipients and those considering if IHSS is right for them.
Volunteer responsibilities:
- Set up room (move tables and chairs according to accessible needs plan - our functional needs consultant/consumer is the lead)
- Check-in/registration
- Logistics/directions to symposium room
- Help serve/distribute boxed lunches
- Assist consumers with disabilities to navigate exits, and restroom access
- Clean up room (move tables and chairs back to the original room setting)
Volunteers are needed from 9:30 am to 1:45 pm, but do not need to be there the whole time. Once we confirm all volunteers, we will work on schedules for the event.

At Sourcewise, we continue to support seniors and caregivers as we expand our reach to include persons with disabilities and all adults in Santa Clara County. We aim to inform, educate, and prepare all adults within Santa Clara County to better navigate their health and life options.
