About the Volu n teer Opportunity:
The Fairweather Family Lodge at Endeavors is seeking a volunteer to help with the 2025 Summer Camp which hosts kids from ages 4 - 16. You will be responsible for helping with the camp and working with the kids on various projects. You will be a consistent mentor and gain experience all while having fun! You will be able to research, create and implement summer camp projects and programming as well as leading small group activities. The summer camp is held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from July 1 - July 31 from 12:45pm - 3:30pm each day.
At the Fairweather Family Lodge, you'll have the opportunity to work directly with leading experts in the field and gain experience working with kids and a curriculum. This position is a perfect opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience and learn about educational programming for children. Volunteer projects are designed to benefit both the program and the compliment the volunteer’s own interests, skills and experience.
This is a great opportunity for anyone who is pursuing or has a degree in Social Work, Education, Kinesiology, Early Childhood Development, Counseling or Public Health.
Requirements:
-Experience or strong interest in working with children
-speaking in front of groups
-can help with the creation and execution of summer camp program
-can pass a background check

About Fairweather Family Lodge:
Endeavors operates the Fairweather Family Lodge (FFL) which provides supportive housing for single mothers with disabilities who have experienced chronic homelessness. FFL provides case management, professional counseling, life skills training and employment opportunities. FFL houses the women and children in the program in an effort to help them achieve a life full of stability, success, and self-sufficiency.
