ORGANIZATION: National Park Service

Working closely with the rangers at Hamilton Grange National Memorial, volunteers will assist in operating tours, museum services, and book store sales at The Grange. Volunteers will be relied upon as stewards of the historic home and wellsprings of knowledge about Alexander Hamilton's life and legacy. Work will be public-facing and take place indoors as well as outdoors. Training materials and time on or off-site will be provided to the volunteer to promote site knowledge before public interactions. If desired, volunteer may be trained in digital media development and draft content for NPS social media accounts and official nps.gov platforms. A uniform will be provided and will be required during working hours. This site requires a minimum of 4 service hours biweekly, but a schedule can be agreed upon with site volunteer coordinator. Volunteer will need to coordinate their own transportation to and from the site. The 1, A,B,C, and D trains run very close by
