Internship Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and creative volunteer intern to join our marketing department and assist in enhancing our online presence and community engagement. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals aged 18+ who are eager to gain hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing while making a meaningful impact on the lives of youth in our community.

Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:

Assist in creating engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), and other relevant platforms.

Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and track analytics.

Develop and implement social media strategies to increase engagement and reach.

Create and edit Instagram Reels and short form videos for other platforms.

Content Creation:

Capture high-quality photos and videos of club activities, events, and youth programs.

Create visually appealing graphics and digital content using design tools.

Utilize AI tools to enhance content creation and streamline workflows.

Write compelling captions and blog posts that highlight the impact of our programs.

Community Engagement:

Assist in promoting club events and initiatives within your service area - Dripping Springs, Lockhart, Luling, New Braunfels, and San Marcos communities.

Help to document the impact of the clubs within the community.

Collaborate with staff and volunteers to develop and implement marketing campaigns.

Help to empower the youth to become better citizens.

General Marketing Support:

Assist with the development of marketing materials, including flyers, brochures, and newsletters.

Support the marketing team with various administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X).

Knowledge of AI tools for content creation and marketing.

Strong photography and videography skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Passion for working with children and young adults.

Reliable and dependable.

Must pass a background check.
