Volunteer with the Yuba City Red Cross Warehouse!

This fun volunteer opportunity with our Yuba City Warehouse is very important to ensure our disaster supplies are ready for our disaster response teams to support community members during times of need. Volunteering with the warehouse may involve moving and organizing American Red Cross supplies, taking inventory of supplies, or assembling items into kits that will help people in need support disaster responders providing services . Please read schedule details.

Schedule:

It is preferred that a warehouse volunteer supports a warehouse shift at least once per month and commits to supporting the team for at least 6 months. We typically need volunteers in the warehouse on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from roughly 10am to 2pm.

Requirements :

• Minimum 18 years of age

• Ability to travel to the American Red Cross Yuba City Office and Warehouse

• Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in English

Additional Guidance :

If you support the warehouse as a volunteer, please plan to wear closed toed shoes, comfortable clothing, and wear layered clothing as the temperature in the warehouse space can vary thr oughout the year, depending on weather.
