About Carla’s Calls

Carla’s Calls is a nonprofit dedicated to providing confidential, empathetic late-night support for single cancer survivors who may feel most alone and vulnerable. Founded in honor of Carla Lewis, our mission is to ensure that no one fights cancer alone, especially during the hardest hours.

Role Overview

Carla’s Calls is seeking a creative and passionate Marketing Team Member to help build brand awareness, engage the community, and drive outreach efforts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in storytelling, content creation, and digital marketing to amplify our impact and connect with supporters.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement social media strategies to increase engagement across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Create compelling content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, to highlight Carla’s Calls’ mission and impact.
• Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns for fundraising events, community outreach, and donor engagement.
• Manage and update the organization’s website and email newsletters to ensure consistent messaging.
• Collaborate with the team to identify partnership and sponsorship opportunities.
• Track and analyze marketing efforts, providing insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in digital marketing, social media management, or communications (nonprofit experience a plus).
• Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to craft engaging messages.
• Proficiency in graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and social media platforms.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting.
• Passion for supporting cancer survivors and making a difference in the community.
