Lend a hand at the 8th annual Garfield Park Art and Music Festival! Volunteers will have access to free snacks and a free GPAMF t-shirt.
We are looking for volunteers to help with the following shifts:
Early shift - 1 to 4pm
- Assisting with set up of the art fair: Directing artists to their booths, Redirecting them to parking options
- Assisting musicians: Directing musicians for load-in, Redirecting them to parking options
- Assisting with set up of the Kid's Zone: Setting up tents, games, art activities, tables, etc.
- Setting up/Monitoring check-in gates
- Setting up Greenroom
- Parking
Middle shift - 4 to 7pm
- Running Kid's Zone with interactive art activities and games
- Assisting with check-in gates
- Checking bathrooms, garbage and recycling bins
- Assisting musicians: Directing musicians for load-in, Redirecting them to parking options
- Floater/helping guests
- Assisting with parking
Late shift - 7 to 10pm
- Running Kid's Zone with interactive art activities and games
- Tearing down Kid's Zone
- Tearing down artist booths
- Tearing down check-in gates
- Assisting with parking
- Gathering garbage and recycling bins
- Helping with load-out

Description
The Garfield Park Art & Music Festival is hosted by the Garfield Park Arts Center, Indy Parks, Musical Family Tree and Garfield Brewery at Garfield Park, the oldest city park in Indianapolis. The 5th annual Garfield Park Art & Music Festival (GPAMF) is an outdoor festival celebrating the art, music, and culture of Indianapolis. The festival will feature a handful of local musicians and bands of diverse genres performing their original music. Up to forty local artists working in a variety of mediums will also host artist booths with their fine art and handmade wares for sale as part of a curated art fair. This event is free to the public thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and volunteers.
