Historic Springfield Tour of Homes & Gardens: April 26 & 27

Springfield Preservation and Revitalization is seeking volunteers to staff the 46th Historic Springfield Tour of Homes and Gardens, taking place on Saturday, April 26 & Sunday, April 27, 2025.
Shifts are 3 hours in duration, beginning at either 11:30 AM or 2:00 PM both days. Volunteer roles will include:
- Greeters/wristband checkers - will be stationed at the front door of tour homes to greet guests and verify tour wristband
- Home docents - will be placed throughout the tour homes to direct guests and answer questions (information about the home will be provided)
- Ticket sales - sell tickets to the tour at the SPAR Office (1321 N Main Street); use of Square terminal and cash handling
Volunteers will be placed in areas with most need during their selected shift.
