A friendly voice, a little time. If you enjoy talking on the phone and have time to make a few phone calls, you may be a perfect for our pro-active call program. VITAS volunteers make phone calls to Vitas families to make sure they are not in need of anything. You help make sure that they have everything they need from thier Vitas team.
These short phone calls can go a long way in making a difference in the lives of those coping with grief. Use your compassion, your listening skills and your time, enhanced by no-cost training and coaching from VITAS.

Description
Volunteers are the heart of VITAS Healthcare(r), providing friendly, non-medical support to hospice patients and their family or offering support services in the office. We are seeking caring and compassionate individuals to volunteer for our patients in their homes or in nursing facilities in your community throughout Mobile.
