April is National Volunteer Month! Volunteers are central to the Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership’s mission to share knowledge and relationship capital with small business owners, and we hope you’ll assist in achieving that mission!

We have multiple opportunities to give back in honor of National Volunteer Month! Any business-related skills make you a good fit to volunteer.

(1) Hands-on-Help Sessions: work one-on-one with a small business owner, focusing on a specific aspect of their business. These are "one and done" virtual sessions that last two hours:

Financial Projections | Wednesday, 4/23/25 : 2:30 - 4:30 PM ET

Website Review | Monday, 4/28/25 | 3:30 - 5:30 PM ET

(2) Success Circles: Ongoing one-on-one support focused on an agreed-upon deliverable.

Volunteers and business owners decide on a time that works for both of them, making it flexible for your schedule. The commitment is typically 2-3 meetings, ranging from one to two hours.

To start your IFEL volunteer journey, sign up for a Volunteer Interview using the link provided.

We are experts in creating and implementing small business programming in support of larger economic development objectives. Our services and programs help ambitious "every day" entrepreneurs gain access to the knowledge, networks, and capital necessary to succeed in business.
