Hospice volunteers play a vital role in providing emotional and social support to patients facing life-limiting illnesses. Whether through conversation, reading, playing music, assisting with small errands, or simply offering a compassionate presence, your time and kindness can make a profound impact.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
Visit patients in their homes or care facilities to provide companionship.
Engage in conversation, read, or listen to music with patients.
Offer respite and support to family caregivers.
Assist with light household tasks or errands (when appropriate).
Participate in administrative or outreach activities, if preferred.
