Do you have a passion for knitting, crocheting, or sewing? If so, we would love for you to use your talents to create handmade items for our hospice patients. We are currently seeking donations of blankets, beanies, lap blankets, shawls, and other cozy items that can bring comfort and warmth to those facing life-limiting illnesses.

Hospice patients are individuals who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness and have a life expectancy of six months or less. As they go through this challenging time, small gestures of care can make a big difference in improving their quality of life. Your handmade creations, crafted with love, can help provide not only physical warmth but also emotional comfort to patients and their families during this difficult period.

Some of the items we are looking for include:

  • Blankets (full-size or lap blankets)

  • Beanies and Shawls (for warmth and comfort)

  • Crocheted ccreations

  • Other cozy, handmade items (such as scarves, tea cozies, tote bags, small pillows, etc.)

We are deeply grateful for any handmade items that you are able to donate, and we are confident that your contributions will provide comfort and joy to our patients in their final months. Your generosity will not only touch the lives of those who receive your creations but will also bring a sense of fulfillment to you, knowing that your work is making a meaningful impact.

If you are interested in participating or would like more details about how you can donate your handmade items, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We are happy to provide any additional information and guide you through the process.

Thank you so much for considering this opportunity to share your skills and generosity. Your time, effort, and creativity are truly appreciated, and we look forward to hearing from you soon.

Orange Hospice deeply values your support and looks forward to the warmth and comfort your contributions will bring to our patients. Together, we can make a difference during this important time.
