Soul Stroll 2025 - The Miracles Club Soul Stroll is an annual event dedicated to promoting health awareness within the African American community. Our aim is to provide accessible physical activity programs that enhance overall health and well-being, formerly hosted by the African American Health Coalition for 22 years.

Mission Statement

The Miracles Club is a Black, Peer led, Recovery Center, committed to providing safe spaces for marginalized, historically oppressed racial and ethnic groups. We serve all individuals looking to find freedom and/or reduce harm from alcohol and drug abuse. Our mission is to maintain a recovery focused environment where all people feel safe to heal.

Description

Founded in 1993 by three men in recovery wishing to create a safe and sober environment to sustain the African American Community has evolved into today's Miracles Club. The Miracles Club of Portland has a cooperative relationship with Multnomah County, Oregon Health Authority, Central City Concern, Guardian Management, Bridges to Change, Quest and HealthShare.

Miracles is a community recovery center that offers addiction peer services to the African American Community, a fellowship hall, a wellness program, events and meeting space for community recovery meetings.
