Modern Military Association of America is looking for someone with Meta ad experience. Our organization is a united voice for LGBTQ+ military and veteran communities. Modern Military works to uphold and expand the civil rights progress made on behalf of LGBTQ+ service members, veterans, and their families through education, advocacy, support networks, and discrimination tracking.

The Perks of Volunteering for Modern Military:

• All volunteer work is fully remote, and you work the hours you want. All our volunteers need is an internet connection and some idea of how many hours per week they can dedicate to helping us.
• Additionally, all volunteers who are dependable and complete work as assigned will receive:
• Glowing recommendations from Modern Military senior management upon request. These recommendatiosn can be via the volunteer's preferred method, e.g., on LinkedIn, as a letter, as an official reference on job applications, etc.
• 1:1 Professional Development This will be based on the volunteer's stated interest and could take the form of: resume review, interview coaching, cover letter editing, or skills training.

What We're Looking For:

• Meta Knowledge: Experience with Meta ad tools and be verified to post ads on social issues
• Analytical Skills: A knack for analyzing data and identifying trends
• Cultureal Competency: An Openness to learning about LGBTQ+ issues and their intersection with military service, with guidance from our team
• Committment: Ability to dedicate sufficient time to see the project through (on a flexible schedule, of course)

What We Need Help With:

Currently, we are seeking a volunteer to help us with creating and managing ads across Meta platforms. Your expertise will directly contribute to increasing visibility for this important cause.

Our ideal candidate will, with guidance and training from staff:

• Demonstrate or acquire under guidance from Modern Military staff basic culturual competency in LGBT+ issues and how they intersect with military service
• Spend two hours a week creating, managing, and updating the ads across our social media accounts
• Follow brand guidelines and evolving rules to create ads that align with our organization and values
• Have a passion for hard work and making an impact
