Volunteer with The Overflow: Fellowship Food Pantry!
Our Attack Poverty locations are planted in under-resourced communities, often times also located in "food deserts". Specifically, we have identified that the North Rosenberg community is a food desert which limits access to affordable and healthy food options. In response to these realities, we anticipate launching and opening our newest partner initiative at our Friends of North Rosenberg Resource Center, The Overflow: Fellowship Food Pantry in collaboration with partner, Children Like Loni.
To make this an ongoing success, we need amazing and passionate people like you!
How Can You Help?:
Registration/ Check-In: Greet community members and ensure they have the appropriate information as they first enter, providing a warm and welcoming environment.
Food Distribution: Sort food in the kitchen into boxes to be distributed to community members.
Client Choice: Assist clients with selecting an item of their choice.
Cart & Carrier: Assist those that are in need with carting items to their car.
Traffic Control: Direct community members on where to park and how to properly line up before receiving their food.
