ORGANIZATION: CHAMBER OF US

Are you a researcher, digital detective, or systems thinker who loves finding out who’s doing what in the world - and how it all connects?

We’re looking for an Ecosystem Intelligence & Research Volunteer to help us discover, map, and organize the people, projects, and organizations working toward systemic change in sustainability, education, and global health.

What We’re Building:

At The Chamber of Us (TCUS), we believe the world’s best solutions already exist - but they’re fragmented, hidden, or disconnected.

One of our long-term goals is to build a living, evolving database of the organizations, initiatives, and changemakers working across sectors and regions.

This role is part of the foundation for that system - blending research, data structuring, and digital tools to help us (and others) better navigate the social impact ecosystem.

What You’ll Do:

We’re looking for a volunteer who can:

* Conduct structured research to identify organizations and projects aligned with TCUS’s mission

* Use modern search tools (advanced Google queries, nonprofit databases, LinkedIn, open data sources)

* Collect and structure data in Google Sheets, Airtable, or Notion

* Tag and categorize organizations by focus area, geography, scale, and potential relevance

* Help prototype a living, searchable ecosystem database

* (Optional) Explore lightweight web scraping, API data collection, or AI-assisted research

* Identify gaps, patterns, and opportunities in the ecosystem over time

Who You Are:

* Strong researcher, information analyst, or digital explorer

* Detail-oriented and organized

* Comfortable using spreadsheets, Airtable, or lightweight databases

* Bonus: Experience with data scraping, APIs, or structured data management

* Bonus: Interest in sustainability, global development, or social impact tech

* Curious, collaborative, and proactive

Why Volunteer With Us:

* Help lay the foundation for a global social impact intelligence system

* Apply your research & data skills to real-world, mission-driven work

* Flexible, remote contribution - no rigid time commitment

* Be part of a small, ambitious team trying to connect the dots for global good

* Gain experience in ecosystem mapping, open data research, and platform building

About The Chamber of Us:

The Chamber of Us (TCUS) is a nonprofit using technology, data, and creative collaboration to address global challenges in sustainability, education, and health. Our digital initiatives include Recipe Empire and Libelle.io, designed to connect people, projects, and systems for systemic change.
