We’re looking for volunteers to help contribute content to Recipe Empire - an experimental, community-driven platform focused on sustainable, healthy diets and climate action.

What We’re Building:

Food systems account for nearly one-third of global emissions. The IPCC and leading climate researchers have identified shifting to sustainable diets as one of the most feasible ways to mitigate climate change. Recipe Empire is designed to make that shift easier and more accessible - by gathering plant-forward, culturally diverse, and climate-friendly recipes and food knowledge from people like you.

Where We Need Your Help:

We’re looking for contributors who can:

* Share recipes you love - whether family favorites, traditional dishes, or your own creations

* Write short food stories, tips, or insights about sustainable ingredients, cooking practices, or local food culture

* Help research and document recipes aligned with healthy, sustainable diets

* Support knowledge-sharing around food traditions, cultural dishes, or local food systems

* Optional: Help us gather and organize contributor content and community engagement

No technical experience required - just a love of food, sustainability, and sharing knowledge.

Who You Are:

* Home cook, foodie, culinary enthusiast, or food systems advocate

* Writer, researcher, or storyteller with an interest in food

* Passionate about sustainable, plant-forward, or culturally diverse food

* Comfortable sharing recipes, stories, or food knowledge

* Organized, collaborative, and interested in mission-driven projects
