We look very much forward to welcoming you as a new member in our team to help with the elaboration of a quantitative and qualitative impact report to demonstrate return on investment.
Museum With No Frontiers is a non-profit Organisation based in Europe. Our aim is to promote the use of art to facilitate mutual knowledge and better mutual understanding. In all MWNF projects, history and cultural heritage are presented by local experts from the country concerned and convey the country’s local perspective.
The history and artistic legacy of Islam are at the core of most MWNF activities. Please have a look at our homepage www.museumnf.org to get a concrete idea about our work.
MWNF doesn't receive any permanent funding but our income comes from annual fees paid by our Partner museums and other income that we manage to generate through our activities.
As all museums are suffering from funding restrictions, life it is becoming more and more complicate also for us. To facilitate things also for our Partners we re planning to elaborate the mentioned report. Since it's the first time we do this, we are looking for help. If you think that you could contribute, please get in touch.

Museum With No Frontiers (MWNF) builds bridges through knowledge and understanding. MWNF has 20 years of experience in "rewriting history" beyond narrow nationalist agendas and promoting a new, inclusive vision of history that highlights exchanges and cooperation between cultures in areas as diverse as archaeology, art and culture, economy and social life. Against the backdrop of contemporary global challenges and conflicts, MWNF projects demonstrate the far-reaching potential of cultural heritage in building intercultural bridges in the name of peace.
Description
Museum With No Frontiers (MWNF) was founded in 1994. Since the beginning, the idea was to overcome any kind of conventional 'border' and to create an exhibition space where well-known and unknown, small and large, secure and insecure, rich and poor could not only coexist but would complement each other, generating mutual benefit for all concerned.
The MWNF program is built around two main activities: the MWNF Virtual Museum including different thematic sections and the MWNF travel guides, focusing on little known aspects of cultural heritage.
MWNF is an independent non-profit organization, relying mainly on volunteer resources. The legal seat is established in Vienna, Austria.
The network set up by MWNF includes public and private Partners from all around the world.
