Kats in Knead offers an exciting opportunity for students to create their own school club dedicated to supporting local shelters and rescue organizations in the Los Angeles area. As a student volunteer, you’ll receive full support from our team to establish and run your club, with resources for organizing meetings and fundraising events. This opportunity allows you to lead initiatives that raise awareness and funds for animal rescues, partner with local businesses for donations, and directly impact the lives of animals in need. Through this experience, you'll develop valuable leadership, project management, and community outreach skills, all while working towards the shared mission of animal welfare. Mission Statement
Kats in Knead is an established 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to providing care and support for the kittens of Los Angeles. Given the overcrowding in shelters throughout the city, our mission is to prevent as many felines as possible from being euthanized by advocating for fostering and through our various programs. By actively pursuing our goal, we strive to make a significant impact in the community, giving felines the second chance at life they deserve. Through our dedicated efforts and the support of our community, we hope to make a difference in animal welfare!

Kats in Knead is a youth-founded, community-driven organization dedicated to supporting shelter and rescue partners throughout the Los Angeles area. Created by a group of passionate young individuals, we collaborate with local businesses, corporations, and other non-profits to provide essential resources and financial support to rescues and shelters. Fully donation-based, every contribution directly impacts the care of animals in need. Our goals are to expand our network of rescue groups, build lasting partnerships, and raise awareness for animal welfare. We offer programs like school club initiatives, corporate partnerships, and fundraising campaigns, providing opportunities for volunteers to gain valuable experience while supporting our mission. Through our efforts, we’ve successfully helped several shelters and engaged countless individuals in making a difference.
