Location: Remote (Flexible)
Time Commitment: 5-10 hours per week (flexible schedule)
Opportunity Description:
Note: This opportunity is limited to participants residing in The Americas
Food Aid Project, Inc. is looking for an assertive, professional, friendly, and caring volunteer to help us connect with food banks nationwide. Our mission is to support food-insecure communities by ensuring food banks have access to the supplies they need. Your role will be to build relationships with food bank representatives, assess their current and future needs, and gather key contact information for food procurement.
Responsibilities:
Call food banks to assess their food supply needs and procurement processes.
Build professional relationships with key personnel to understand how we can support their mission.
Identify and document the right contact persons for food procurement.
Provide summary reports of outreach efforts to help guide our support initiatives.
Ideal Volunteer:
Assertive, professional, friendly, and caring in communication.
Comfortable making phone calls and engaging in professional conversations.
Strong relationship-building and active listening skills.
Passionate about food security and supporting nonprofit initiatives.
Organized and detail-oriented.
Prior sales experience is not required-this role is about connection, not persuasion.
