ORGANIZATION: Young Men's Ultimate Weekend
Please visit the new page to apply.

Be a part of something bigger! Join the Young Men’s Ultimate Weekend (YMUW) team as a one-day volunteer to help set up or take down this transformative wilderness rite of passage event for teenage boys and young men aged 13-20.
YMUW is a powerful mentoring experience that builds confidence, responsibility, and essential life skills-and we need your help behind the scenes to make it happen!
We are seeking male volunteers (ages 21+) to assist with:
Thursday, June 19, 2025 - Event setup (preparing the camping site, organizing materials, and ensuring everything is ready for the weekend)
Sunday, June 22, 2025 - Event takedown (packing up equipment and closing out the event)
Location: Lake Berryessa
Time: 10 AM to 4 PM (both days)
Why volunteer?
✔ Support a nature-based experience that helps teenagers grow into strong, capable men
✔ No prior experience needed-just a willingness to help in the outdoors!
✔ A great opportunity to contribute without committing to the full weekend
✔ Work alongside a team of like-minded men in a wilderness setting
Volunteer Requirements:
Background checks may not be required for setup/takedown roles (final details pending).
Exact shift times will be determined in coordination with the weekend managers.
Your support is essential in ensuring a smooth and successful experience for the teenage boys and young men participating in this life-changing mentoring and wilderness adventure.
Interested? Reach out to Brendan Byrd at BernieYMUW@gmail.com to sign up or get more details.
Every great event starts with a strong foundation-help us build it!
