ORGANIZATION: Young Men's Ultimate Weekend
Please visit the new page to apply.

Join the Young Men’s Ultimate Weekend (YMUW) volunteer team for a powerful and life-changing wilderness experience from June 19-22, 2025!
Founded by Dr. Mark Schillinger, YMUW is an immersive wilderness rite of passage event designed to challenge and inspire teenage boys and young men aged 13-20.
For one unforgettable weekend, we step away from the distractions of modern life-no phones, no screens-just raw, real experiences in nature. In this physically active and mentally engaging event, participants push their limits, build resilience, and form deep connections with mentors and peers. Through teamwork, honest conversations, and hands-on challenges, teenagers develop confidence, leadership, and essential life skills-all while having an incredible time in the outdoors.
Volunteer Requirements:
✔ Men aged 21+ who are ready to have a positive impact on the lives of youth
✔ Available for the full weekend (June 19-22)
✔ Completion of a background check
✔ Attendance at mandatory mentoring & development sessions on Saturday, May 31st in Fairfield, CA

Be a positive influence in your community by supporting teenage boys on their journey to manhood
