Join Baby2Baby to assist with their events team and bring much needed resources to underserved children.

Why: Over the past 13 years, Baby2Baby has distributed over 450 million items - more than any organization of its kind - to children in homeless shelters, domestic violence programs, foster care, hospitals and underserved schools as well as children who have lost everything in the wake of disaster.

Who: Baby2Baby is a national non-profit organization that provides children living in poverty with diapers, formula, clothing, and the basic necessities that every child deserves, serving more than one million children across all 50 states every year

What to Expect:

Reporting to the Director of Events, the Events Intern will gain experience assisting the Baby2Baby team with preparing for monthly distribution events

The event's intern will also learn about the Los Angeles non-profit and social service sectors, and how Baby2Baby accomplishes its mission.

Shadows the Director of Events and support with daily tasks and special projects.

Learns about event development and production.

Conducts vendor research.

Learns about the administrative elements of the events team including the department trackers and calendars.

What's Required:

Undergraduate or graduate degree in progress.

Excellent organizational, administrative and time management skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Access to personal transportation.

Proficient in MS Office (specifically Excel) and the Google Apps suite.

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
