It's our biggest celebration of the year, and we need your help to pull it off! Feel welcome to sign up for any and as many shifts as you would like.
Step into the future as Southern Exposure proudly presents New Suns, our annual art auction and fundraiser. Join us as a volunteer for our VIP Event (Thursday, April 3) and our Main Event (Friday, April 18), at the SoEx gallery for a visionary evening showcasing over 100 of the Bay Area’s most celebrated emerging and established artists during an in-person event we’ll be talking about for years to come.
Our VIP Preview Night (Thursday, April 3) is an intimate look at this year's exhibition from 6-8p, where bidders will get an exclusive tour of featured items in the auction, and have the first chance to "buy it now!" while enjoying speciality drinks and talks from select artists.
Our Main Event (Friday, April 18) will feature both a silent and a live auction led by esteemed Bonhams Auctioneer Aaron Bastian.
See it all unfold from behind the scenes by volunteering. Do it for the SoEx community - and for free admission to the event! (Volunteers must be 18 and up.)

Southern Exposure (SoEx) is an artist-centered non-profit organization committed to supporting visual artists. Through our extensive and innovative programming, SoEx strives to experiment, collaborate and further educate while providing an extraordinary resource center and forum for Bay Area and national artists and youth in our Mission District space and off-site, in the public realm.
Description
An active presence in the Bay Area since 1974, SoEx is continually evolving in response to the needs of artists and the community while engaging the public in artists' work. Central to our mission is to remain the most accessible space for visual artists to produce and present new work, learn, and connect. SoEx provides visual artists with the tools and resources they need to experiment in an open and supportive environment. We also work to advocate to new, diverse audiences and build an ever-growing community of enthusiasts and supporters of the visual arts.
