No gardening experience required. We will lay the pots out where we want to plant them.

The rain garden is a bowl shaped planted depression designed to slow water down allowing it to soak into the ground instead of rushing towards our streams and rivers inundating them in wet conditions. Our chosen plants love to get their feet wet

Waiver: If you are bringing children that are not your own, please have their parent/guardian fill out the waiver that is attached. We will also have copies at the event.

What to bring:

  • Gardening tools if you have them, though we will have some to share.
  • Gloves, we have extra
  • Knee pads or a kneeling pad if you have them
  • Clothes and shoes that can get muddy
  • Water bottle

We will bring:

  • Extra gardening tools
  • Extra gloves
  • Water bottles and a water jug for refills
  • Granola bars
