The Helpings Hands Volunteer Program offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of seniors in small, intimate assisted living facilities. Each resident receives personalized attention and care, and our volunteers play a vital role in enriching their days.

We believe that companionship and connection are essential to well-being, and our volunteers provide just that. Whether it's sharing stories over a cup of tea, playing a favorite game, reading aloud, or simply offering a listening ear, our Helping Hands volunteers bring warmth and joy to our patients' lives.

As a Helping Hands volunteer, you can choose from a variety of rewarding activities, including:

  • Companionship: Spend quality time with residents, engaging in conversations, reminiscing, and building meaningful relationships.
  • Activities: Assist with or lead activities such as arts and crafts, music, gentle exercise, or games, tailored to the interests and abilities of our residents.
  • Mealtime Support: Offer companionship during meals, helping to create a pleasant and social dining experience.
  • Special Events: Participate in holiday celebrations and other special events, adding to the festive atmosphere.

No special skills are required, just a caring heart and a willingness to share your time. We provide training and support to all our volunteers, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident in your role.

The Helping Hands Volunteer Program is more than just volunteering; it's about building genuine connections and becoming part of our close-knit community. If you're looking for a fulfilling way to give back and make a lasting impact, we invite you to join our Caring Hands team.
