The mission of Riceland Hospice is to participate as an active part of the community, to provide and continuously improve hospice services to meet the needs of the patients by delivering value driven, high quality compassionate care.

Description

When medical care cannot offer a cure, hospice provides a compassionate method of caring for those who have life limiting conditions. Hospice care is palliative with an emphasis on symptom control so that a person may live the final days of their life fully, with dignity and comfort, at home or in other community settings. Riceland Hospice is committed to providing our patients and their families with the highest quality of care, compassion, and comfort. We welcome individuals and organizations interested in volunteering services such as reading to patients, running errands for the family, assisting staff in the office, visiting local facilities, and so much more. Volunteers can be instrumental in providing addition comfort and compassion to our patients and their families.
