St. Francis Montessori Pre & Primary School is dedicated to providing quality early childhood and primary educationin Arusha, Tanzania. The school follows the Montessori approach, encouraging independent learning, creativity, and hands-on experiences to develop children's potential.
Despite its commitment to education, the school faces challenges such as teacher shortages, limited learning resources, and a lack of extracurricular activities. Many children come from low/mid-income families, making access to quality education even more challenging.
To address these challenges, TAJPI Tanzania established the Volunteer Support Program, which brings in international volunteers to assist with teaching, extracurricular activities, mentorship, and school improvements. This initiative not only benefits the children but also fosters culturalexchange and global learning experiences for volunteers.
