Central MS Turtle Rescue (northern region) located in Southaven, MS is looking for volunteers 2-3 hours per week (or more if desired). Training is provided.
Duties include:
- feeding and watering the animals.
- medical care
- triage
- enrichment for ambassador species
- Food prep
- cage cleaning & watering
- running errands & picking up supplies
- fundraisers (planning & support)
- grant writer
- transporting & releases
- vet drop off and pick up
- general cleaning duties

Mission Statement
The Central MS Turtle Rescue provides rescue and rehabilitation for injured, sick, abused, neglected, or abandoned turtles and tortoises in Mississippi with the goal of releasing all rehabilitated native turtles back to their natural environment, while also educating the public about the importance of turtles and tortoises in our ecosystem, and the role humans play in their future.
