Guardian’s Embrace is seeking passionate volunteers to engage with businesses in San Diego, offering opportunities to support our mission through tax-deductible in-kind donations via our Giving Store and by utilizing our event services for executive leadership gatherings. This role is ideal for individuals with strong communication skills, a heart for service, and an interest in nonprofit partnerships.
Responsibilities:
Identify and reach out to local businesses to introduce Guardian’s Embrace and our Giving Store for in-kind tax-deductible donations.
Present opportunities for companies to utilize our event services for executive leadership retreats, conferences, and networking events.
Maintain professional and friendly communication while fostering long-term relationships with business leaders.
Collaborate with our team to track outreach efforts and follow up on potential partnerships.
Educate businesses on how their contributions directly impact child protection, human trafficking prevention, and community support efforts.
Qualifications:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable making cold calls and business outreach.
Experience in sales, marketing, or nonprofit fundraising is a plus but not required.
Passion for community engagement and social impact.
Ability to work independently while staying aligned with Guardian’s Embrace’s mission and values.
Time Commitment:
Flexible hours with a minimum commitment of 5 hours per week. Remote options are available for outreach efforts.
