Mission Statement

Seeds of Faith Community Garden is dedicated to cultivating hope and nourishment through the growth and donation of fresh produce to local food pantries, including ECHO and Hope for Her. We strive to embody the love of Christ by serving our community, fostering volunteerism, and providing a space where individuals can come together to make a meaningful impact. Through our work, we seek to reflect the hands and feet of Jesus, sharing His compassion and grace with those in need.

Description

The Seeds of Faith Community Garden is an on-campus garden purposed for creating a place for learning, fellowship, and providing food for local food pantries. In 2010-11 growing season, the garden was established with seven volunteers, an empty plot of land, one hose, and 100 cinder blocks. In the past ten years, God has faithfully grown thousands of pounds of fresh produce for families at ECHO and Hope For Her.
