Celebrate the arts and artists of South Jersey with live music, food and drink, craft vendors, and art-making!
People of all ages are welcome to this FREE event! The day will include live music on our Grove Stage; craft vendors from throughout the region; a variety of yummy eats from food trucks, and beer, wine and spirits by local producers. Appel Farm teaching artists will lead art making workshops for all ages, and local young artists will display their artwork in a pop-up outdoor art gallery!
Volunteers needed for parking, welcome tent hospitality, arts activities, beer/wine/spirits area, art show and recognition ceremony, first aid, and clean up.

Description
A regional arts center providing opportunities for arts education, arts appreciation and creative expression to artists, students and the public through programs that build on the Appels’ founding principles.
- On-site free community-based festivals including the South Jersey Arts Fest in the spring and the Artober Festival in the fall.
- Overnight arts experiences including the Mother’s Day Weekend Arts Retreat.
- Collaborations with regional and statewide youth arts programs including the Salem/Gloucester County Teen Arts Festival and the Scholastic Arts & Writing Awards.
- After school, evening and weekend Arts Labs classes for adults, youth and families.
- Community Arts Labs classes in your hometown libraries.
- Residential summer Arts Camp for ages 8 to 16.
- Innovative arts-based collaborations serving health and wellness of the community.

REQUIREMENTS
- This is a Done in a Day opportunity and there is no prior training or ongoing commitment needed.
- Must be at least 16
- Orientation or Training
- 3 hour shifts
- Wear walking shoes and dress in layers. Bring hat, sunscreen, blanket or lawn chair. Snacks will be provided and food trucks available to purchase additional food. Rain or shine. Located on a 117 acre site with some sidewalk access. Free parking.
