The United Youth Coalition is hosting a Pennsylvania wide kindness project where volunteers from all over PA work on engaging with the youth of our community, creating care package drives and creating motivational cards for children in need. We are looking for interested volunteers to help run the event at the executive level (collaborate with us to come up with projects, finances, etc.) or volunteers willing to sort of host a chapter in their region!

Description
The Federation of Neighborhood Centers (FNC) has been providing programming and services to Philadelphia’s most vulnerable citizens for 111 years. Today, FNC provides extensive youth programming, based on our urban farms (The Community Learning Farms of FNC). Our three farms, located in North Philadelphia, West Philadelphia, and Roxborough provide over 12 tons of fresh produce to the community while also being a hub for community learning about nutrition, healthy eating, food access, and other related topics. FNC also provides workforce programming, parenting programming, and fiscal sponsorship for emerging non-profits. Originally created to connect the city’s settlement houses, today the people we serve are amazingly similar to the immigrants we supported in our early years - low income people of all ages who need additional supports to complete school, find jobs, and provide for families.
