We're seeking a passionate Marketing Volunteer to help expand our reach and impact. This role is perfect for someone who believes in the power of storytelling to create social change and wants to use their marketing skills to amplify immigrant voices.

Time Commitment

• 10-15 hours a month

Key Responsibilities

Audience Development

• Identify and engage new audience segments who would benefit from our content
• Develop strategies to reach diverse communities and expand our platform's visibility
• Analyze audience data and provide insights for content strategy

Content Promotion

• Create and implement a consistent promotion schedule for our stories and initiatives
• Partner with our social media manager to help create engaging social media content that highlights our storytellers
• Coordinate the promotion of our storytelling project sponsorship opportunities
• Assist with email marketing campaigns to engage our community

Fundraising & Development Support

• Create compelling fundraising campaigns to drive individual donations
• Research and help identify grant opportunities aligned with our mission
• Develop marketing materials for corporate sponsorship packages
• Craft persuasive content for funding proposals and sponsorship requests
• Build relationships with potential corporate sponsors and philanthropic organizations
• Create a sustainable fundraising communication strategy
• Track fundraising efforts and provide recommendations for optimization

Qualifications

• Experience in digital marketing, communications, or related field
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Experience with social media management and content creation
• Understanding of or interest in immigration issues and cultural sensitivity
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently
• Bonus: Experience with nonprofit marketing, grant writing, or fundraising
