Virtual Volunteer Opportunity: Craft Kits for Homeless Keiki!

Help bring creativity and joy to homeless children at our summer camp by assembling pre-made craft kits! This is a wonderful opportunity for individuals, families, or groups to give back-right from home!

What’s Needed?
We need 24 simple craft kits (age-appropriate for 5-8-year-olds) that come ready to use, including:
All necessary materials pre-packed in individual Ziplock bags

  • if glue is required please include a glue stick or glue dots. NO Liquid glue please
  • if markers, crayons, etc are needed, you may place a few in each bag, no need for a full box for each child.
  • the MAIN GOAL is to have each child have their own baggie full of all the supplies needed to complete the project

Step-by-step instructions for easy assembly so the craft host can share the instructions step by step
A completed sample to guide the children so the craft host can show the completed project
If making gender-specific crafts, please provide 12 for boys and 12 for girls

Deadline & Shipping
All kits must be shipped to our dormitory no later than June 15th. (Shipping address provided upon sign-up.)

Project Hawai’i, Inc. is a volunteer-staffed, award-winning nonprofit dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty for Hawai’i’s homeless children. Operating on the islands of Hawai’i, O’ahu, and Maui, our mission is to empower keiki through education, mentorship, and life-changing experiences.

Founded in 2003, Project Hawai’i, Inc. is supported solely by public donations, allowing 100% of contributions to directly benefit the children we serve. Our programs focus on providing essential needs like food, clothing, and hygiene supplies while creating opportunities for long-term growth and success.
