Event Planning Volunteer

Role Overview: You're Perfectly Imperfect Corp is seeking an Event Planning Volunteer to assist with the design, organization, and execution of events that promote our mission of empowering youth through sports and financial literacy. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating fundraising events, workshops, and community outreach activities.

  • Work closely with the team to ensure all logistics are in place (e.g., venue, vendors, volunteers, and equipment).

  • Help develop event timelines, agendas, and schedules to ensure smooth execution.

  • Coordinate communication with event participants, sponsors, and volunteers.

  • Help with event promotion through various channels, including social media and email marketing.

  • Assist with post-event follow-up, including thank-you notes and reporting.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Experience in event planning or project management.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Passion for creating impactful experiences for youth and communities.
