Volunteers will be required to pass a federal background check.
Volunteers are needed to assist on the Allatoona Lake Recycling Program. Volunteer will assist other volunteers with the pickup and disbursement of recyclables dropped at numerous lake recreation areas. The Volunteer Village Campground offers 10 full hook-up campsites each furnished with a table, grill, lantern post, water, electric and sewage. Village volunteers also share a meeting room with a kitchen, lounge, laundry room, and a maintenance shop, 2 shelters, restrooms, outdoor exercise equipment, trails, and access to a boat ramp.
Volunteers will work closely with park rangers, administrative staff, other volunteers, or independently. There will be a combination of indoor and outdoor work, but this opening will be more outdoor.
