Join a FUN Event Committee that meets monthly and plans our fundraising events. This includes everything from brainstorming creative ideas and securing venues, to coordinating volunteers and ensuring the event runs smoothly. Volunteer on the event day to help with set up, registration, guest assistance and more. Whatever your talents are, we will find a fitting task. All while supporting Habitat for Humanity's mission. We'll coordinate a meeting day and time that works best for committee members!

Our mission is to help families in Kitsap County build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter. Through this work, we envision a world where everyone has a safe, decent, affordable place to live.
Description
This affiliate has worked all over Kitsap County for over 30 years, building and repairing the places that our community members can proudly call home.
We partner with families in need of affordable housing to help them build their own homes alongside volunteers. There are multiple volunteer opportunities available to support our partner families!
CONSTRUCTION
When you volunteer on our construction site, you will work alongside our site leaders, other volunteers and our partner families as they complete what we call sweat equity (building your own home). Volunteers are accepted during most phases of the construction process!
STORE
Our Store accepts donations and sells a constantly changing inventory of diverse, high-quality merchandise to the public at a fraction of the retail price, while diverting these reusable items from landfills. We use the funds raised by the Store to help families build, rehabilitate and repair their homes.
OTHER OPPORTUNITIES
There are a variety of ways that you can help support our mission: administrative tasks, fundraising, event planning, data entry, taking photos and videos, donating lunches...No matter what your skills or interests are, we can almost certainly find a place for you at Habitat.
